Bioi was invited to participate in the 2015 Royal Architectural Institute of Canada Festival of Architecture symposium. The submission explored the proposition that architecture's most meaningful contribution to the city is not the singular landmark building, but the accumulation of considered, spatially intelligent buildings that together constitute the fabric of everyday urban life.
The work argued for an understanding of architecture as infrastructure: not spectacular, not autonomous, but deeply embedded in the systems of movement, ecology, and community that make cities function and feel worth inhabiting.
